It is York, Pennsylvania, in the 1950s. A wealthy old lady is rumoured to be close to death, and her inheritance is up for grabs. Two impoverished actors decide to pass themselves off as her missing relatives, Max and Steve. A flawless plan…until it transpires that Max and Steve are the

nieces, not the nephews of the old lady! Much cross-dressing, devilish deception and unlikely romance ensues. Cue untimely entrances, lightning costume changes and rapid exits in this very funny romp.
