Closed until further notice - a message from our committee

Updated: Oct 22, 2020

It won't come as any surprise, but we've had to close our doors in Upper Norwood for the foreseeable future due to the coronavirus pandemic. The safety of our members and audiences is so important to us, but we'll be sure to keep you all updated as soon as we're able to meet again.

What will happen to our 2020 season?

As many of you will know, we had planned to present The Thrill of Love (by Amanda Whittington) in May, along with a murder mystery in July. Both productions are postponed for now. If possible, we hope to present The Thrill of Love in our usual autumn slot (November) but this will be dependent on license availability for that time.*

Where can I find out more?

The best place to look for updates is on Facebook where we'll be making regular updates and posting the latest event dates as soon as they are confirmed. If you have a specific enquiry in the meantime, please do get in touch.

We're sending best wishes from everyone at The Downsview Players to all our members, friends, supporters and audiences - we can't wait to be back together and presenting our next show to you all.

*UPDATE (Oct 2020): we've not been able to resume our meetings and so are now focusing on next year and hoping to make plans again soon.
